Marceline Outfit Ideas

The lady here, Marceline Bedard is from H.P. Lovecraft & Zealia Bishop's piece of short Weird fiction Medusa's Coil. Which I discovered while listening to the H.P. Lovecraft Literary Podcast. It's so rare for Lovecraft to write a female character, let alone give her any dialog and even a hint of motivation or personality that she intrigues me.

Trying to figure out clothes that an odd exotic French ex-cult priestess young woman in 1930 would wear took up many hours over the past week or so. I'm most pleased with the third outfit. I'm not sure if I gave her too much hair. But the impractical volume of her hair works for a static art substitute for the creepy way it seems to have a life of it's own in the story.
